Born in Plymouth, England, Adam had a distinguished career that was ultimately cut short due to injury. Whilst in England, Adam represented both city and state teams at most age groups from U11 through U18. However, it was through his affiliation with Plymouth Argyle Football Club (1987 - 1995) that Adam truly learnt his trade.
Under the tutorledge of coaches that not only experienced distinguished domestic professional careers, but also represented their country at the World Cup, Adam learnt that soccer is an easy game if (a) you let the ball do the work, and (b) you do the simple things well.
Following these simple rules, Adam made his debut for Plymouth Argyle 2nd team shortly after his 16th birthday. However, soon after, a bad knee injury meant that Adam would be sidelined for over a year and a half, and would never return to the same level of competition.
In 1996 Adam moved to the United States to play soccer at Charleston Southern University (NCAA Div. 1), in Charleston, South Carolina. Four injury plagued and operation filled years later, Adam said goodbye to the game after sustaining a serious head injury.
Adam is currently the head coach of Plymouth Football Club - U9 & U11 Girls teams, and is passing on the knowledge that was passed down to him. In addition, Adam currently holds a National D License, a National Youth License, is a staff coach of the Utah Olympic Development Program, and is an assistant coach of the American Fork High School girls team.
Congratulations!
